Whichever way you put it – and there are probably quite a few ways of getting excited about this one – Live To Worship: Double Pack is a good deal. And a great album. And an intriguing, uplifting, faith-chasing experience.
Forget your 79p per track compilations: Live To Worship: Double Pack offers up 58 of the best loved worship tracks of recent years for just £18. If you know your maths, you’ll have worked out that makes each track just 31p. Not bad, huh? Not bad, especially considering the tracks themselves: from Chris Tomlin’s ‘How Great Is Our God’ to Matt Redman’s ‘Dancing Generation’, Delirious’ ‘Majesty’ to Vicky Beeching’s ‘Yesterday, Today, Forever’. Add in Marc James’ ‘Surrender’, Tim Hughes’ ‘Be My Everything’ and Graham Kendrick with Darlene Zschech working on ‘There Is A Hope
So Sure’ and you get a flavour of the way things are going. Add in another 51 tracks – all original recordings by the original artists – and you’ve got yourself a reason to get excited.
